Review requests

If someone is a book blogger, they love to read and I am not the exception. I LOVE reading!! It is my get away from the crazy, busy life that I live. Starting this blog was one of the best things I have done and I love doing it. I have met some amazing authors, readers, and bloggers during this process.

Every review we write will be posted on the blog, on GoodReads, and on Amazon.  You can take a look at our rating system page to see how we rate.

Along with reviewing books, we also enjoy doing author spotlights, blog tours, giveaways, and cover reveals. We are here to get the word out about the books and have fun doing it!!

Our favorite/preferred genre is romance (preferably with lots of bad boys in it for me), including YA, NA, Contemporary, Paranormal, and Erotic. But we are willing to give other things a try.  We will always consider a review request for any genre, so please feel free to contact us anytime.

We have kindles, so we are able to accept ebooks or paperbacks for review.  We will never post a review that is less than 3 stars without the author’s approval…even if the author requested an honest review. Also, we will never write a review with spoilers in it. I. HATE. SPOILERS. Our reviews consist of how we felt about the story and how it made us feel. I love the emotions books bring out in me and I love sharing that with you all. There will even be some of our favorite quotes included 🙂

Now with all that being said, I am currently only one person, with a guest reviewer who has agreed to help me out, so I unfortunately can’t review every request I get.  I wish I could but being a wife, mother, and student kinda takes up a lot of time.

So, if you want to request a review, here is the email and information required.

Please send all review requests to readingandreviewing@gmail.com.  When requesting a review, please include the following information.

• Author name
• Book title
• Series # (if applicable)
• Genre
• Synopsis
• Links to amazon and goodreads reviews (if applicable)
• Publish date & timeframe you would like us to read (if applicable)
• Website/blog/social networking links

 

And, then, this is the part that no blogger likes to discuss….Negative Reviews.

Not everyone will agree on every book and what I like may be different from what one of my reviewers likes, or even you all like. Variety is the spice of life, and everyone is allowed to form his or her own opinions. It’s okay if we all don’t agree. No one enjoys writing negative reviews and we are not here to point fingers or degrade an author. We are only here to give you our honest opinion on a book and to do it in the most tactful and helpful of ways.
