5 ROCK MY SOCKS STARS!!!!!
WOW…..I can’t even really describe how wonderful this book was. I have to say that this book was the one of the best Final books of a series I have ever read. Panic had everything you want in a 5 star book. Besides making my emotions go all over the place…it had so many great elements. This book had romance, steam, scheming ex’s, suspense, intrigue and explosive truths. The author really wrapped up Ronin and Rook’s story in this installment. I don’t feel that anything went unanswered. Yes…I believe both Ford and Spencer’s stories are not finished, but I’m thrilled to know that they are getting their own books. I have to say that I was slightly confused during parts of this book, but JA Huss does an excellent job of clearing everything up in the end, that I have absolutely no questions. I was really happy to see that we got more of a story to this book, then just having Rook and Ronin’s love story. We do get to see that as well but I loved the part that Spencer and Ford played in this book as well.
Each of these characters were fabulous!!!! Rook changed so much over the course of these 3 books. I was so glad to see the strong person she ended up being in the end. I was also glad to see that she was willing to forgive some things from the past and is willing to let them go and move on to happier times with Ronin. As for Ronin…..the man is a dream!!!! I have to say that as truths are revealed in this book I questioned some of the things he told Rook. ( You’ll understand it better once you read the book ) But in the end Ronin just ended up being just as wonderful as he was in the first 2 books. I will say that Spencer and Ford really gave Ronin a run for his money. I have deep feelings for both Spencer and Ford. These two guys were unique in their own special way. But let me tell you….they prove that they are loyal to a fault. All three of these guys would’ve done anything for Rook. I loved that they were a TEAM 🙂
As for the other characters….I am really hoping that we learn more about Elise and Antoine in Ford’s book…just to see what happens with them down the road. They kind of faded out of the story as the book progressed. I loved getting to see Veronica again. I think she made a great friend for Rook and I am excited to read about her story in Spencer’s book. As for Clare…I guess every book has to have that 1 character that you don’t like. Well Clare was it for me. Yes I was glad to see she came out of rehab better, but I didn’t like what she was doing to Rook and Ronin. I wanted to slap her so many times. I would’ve definitely kicked her to the curb!!!!
I would definitely recommend this series to everyone. This was a great love story, but it was so much more then that. This was also a story of survival and learning to let go and trusting in others. If you are looking for something different then what is out there….this is the series for you. It will keep you intrigued and turning the pages all the way through.
