Release Date: 8/13/13

“Love is an earthquake. It comes when you least expect it. It rips the ground clear away. Right out from under you.”

The day Lia Smart met Grayson Walker, eight years ago, was the day she fell helplessly in love with him. Coincidentally, it was the same day Grayson fell in love with someone else: Lia’s smarter, sexier, superior-in-every-way older sister, Alex.

Now, nearly a decade later, Alex and Grayson are long over and twenty-two-year-old Lia has finally managed to forget all those lonely nights she spent pining after her sister’s boyfriend. But when Grayson unexpectedly arrives back in town with Alex for Labor Day weekend and the two announce that they’re not only back together but engaged, all the feelings that Lia buried suddenly come bubbling back to the surface.

But Lia is no longer the awkward, gangly tomboy she was at fourteen. Far from it. And Grayson is conflicted by the lustful thoughts he’s now having for her. He knows he could never act on those thoughts, however. Grayson has always prided himself on being one of the “good guys.” But as the weekend wears on, he’s finding this new grown-up version of Lia more and more impossible to resist…

Heartbreaking and sexy with a dash of humor, Sophie Swift crafts a passionate, unforgettable tale about desire, growing up, and the kind of love that shakes us to the core.

*Contains adult situations and explicit content. Recommended for ages 17+

“Love is an earthquake. It comes when you least expect it. It rips the ground clear away. Right out from under you.”

And let me tell you this book is definitely and earthquake! It filled me with so many emotions, I honestly felt like I was quaking with the characters.  This story is about Lia, Grayson and Alex. Lia and Alex are sisters. Lia has always felt that she has been living in big sister Alex’s shadow all her life.

Alex is the perfect one – always put together, beautiful, things come easy for her and gets what she wants. This does not make her a very nice person.

Lia is the awkward tom boy that blossoms into a beautiful woman who struggles to do the right thing when it comes to running the family restaurant and letting go of her own dreams.

Grayson is the boy next door. He’s the hot guy who’s also a pretty descent. He seems to always be rescuing Lia when she needs it.  Grayson meets both sisters when their in High School and immediately falls under Alex’s spell. Their relationship is passionate, tortured and tangled. Alex has a hold over him that spans off and on for eight years.

Lia has been in love with Grayson for eight years and she can’t seem to break free and move on from him. When he shows up, surprisingly with Alex and they are engaged, she falls all over again. Grayson is shocked to see the woman Lia has become and is freaked out over his sudden impure thoughts. And this is where the love triangle begins.

I have to admit, when I first started reading this book, I was nervous about the whole love triangle thing. I’m not a fan of cheating, but as I continued to read the story, I realized it didn’t bother me. Alex is such a bitch that you don’t feel bad for her. You’re actually rooting for Grayson and Lia to get their crap together. My only issue is Grayson, he really needed to get himself in check and do what he wants and not what’s expected of him. He redeemed himself in the end though!

Overall, I really liked this story and was invested in finding out how everything plays out. Ms. Swift wrote a story that I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s well written, entertaining, flowed well and the characters were well developed. I definitely connected with the characters and the sex scenes were hot! One scene was so sticky, gooey and devouring that I had a big smile on my face!

You will not be disappointed in this read! This bitch says get this book and enjoy the quake!
