Review**~**Edible(Exquisite #3) by Elle Frank

Rachel Langley is more than familiar with those three words in her line of work. After all, she spends her afternoons and evenings creating desserts so divine that your mouth will water and your taste buds will tingle.

They aren’t, however, the words she would have ever expected to think of when she locks eyes with a certain lawyer she knows only as Cole.

With each encounter, the infuriatingly persistent man becomes more impossible to resist, and edible is the exact word that comes to mind.

Crave, demand, covet.

Cole Madison knows exactly what he wants, and Rachel Langley is it. From the moment he spotted her at Whipped, he knew he wanted to grab hold and take a bite.

However, the woman has enigmatic moves, avoiding him at every turn.

But not for much longer.

Rachel’s time is up, and as far as Cole is concerned, he’s waited too long for a taste of what he desires. Nothing, including the woman herself, will stop him from consuming what he hungers for.

The only question left is: Who will take the first bite?

5 stars!!

Let me just start by saying this book was off the charts STEAMY!!!!!  Edible is book 3 in the Exquisite Series and it was by far my favorite of all the books.  After reading some of the scenes in this book I can truly say I understand why it was called Edible…..I wanted to eat Cole all up, in this book.  When we first meet Cole in Entice (book 2), he is a stiff shirt Lawyer who doesn’t seem to know how to loosen up and have fun.  But towards the end we do get a hint of a “wild” side to Cole….well let me tell you…Cole is full of “yummy” surprises underneath that tailored suit of his.  In Edible we totally get to see a different side to Cole and that is in part to him meeting Rachel.  I will say that to me, Cole is the epitome of an Alpha Male.  He was strong willed and very demanding but he was also so sweet and swoon worthy that you can’t help but fall in love with him.  Rachel was also an amazing character.  I have liked Rachel since she was introduced in Exquisite (book 1) and then as we got to see more of her character in Entice (book 2) but I truly felt and appreciated her as a strong woman once we got to know all about her in Edible.  There is so much to Rachel that you don’t find out about until Edible but is kind of hinted to in Entice.  I loved Cole and Rachel together as a couple they totally complimented each other.  It’s funny because the time span of this book is about a 2 week period, but it totally doesn’t feel like that.  Now I am sure you are thinking insta-love and yes in some ways it is but Ella Frank does a great job playing this out that you really don’t get that insta-love feeling.  Maybe it has to do with the fact that she started their connection in Entice.  I loved the flashbacks in this book, because we find out so much more about Rachel and the type of person she was and how she got to be the strong woman she is at the end of the book.  We also get a glimpse into what Josh and Mason were like in their younger years.  I also liked that we got to see what Mason and Rachel’s parents were like.  Their dad was amazing!!!!!
My only complaint of this book was that we didn’t get to see Mason, Lena, Josh and Shelly as much in this book as we did in Entice.  Now don’t get me wrong they are still in this book but just not as much, so we don’t really get many updates until closer to the end and then in the epilogue.  I will say that this book truly did focus on Cole and Rachel which wasn’t a bad thing.  We did get introduced to a new character Logan, and he is actually getting his own book as well.  That should be interesting.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this book/series to everyone!!!!  One of the best things about this book, besides all the steam (caramel scene) , we got no drama with this couple.  They are a very functional couple and once they get together they work through everything together.  There are none of those pesky misunderstandings we see in other love story books.  It was totally refreshing to read a romance story where I didn’t want to throw my kindle because the characters do something to aggravate me…LOL 🙂
Favorite Lines :  “Whenever you are waiting for me, always wait as though I’m above you and about to slide inside you.  Always be ready for me.”

“It’s beating hard because it wants the one it loves to feel it.”
