Seduction. Infidelity. Blackmail. Scandal. It can all be bought for the right price and for Sienna Stevens, business is good.
Because she’s in the business of Great Exploitations.
She’s an Eve, a member of a secret society of women contracted by the wives of wealthy, powerful men for one reason and one reason only: to seduce their husbands. To ensure their pre-nuptial agreement will be null and void thanks to a little loophole known as the Infidelity Clause. To ensure that those wives don’t find themselves on the other side of a divorce without a penny to their name.
When it comes to the Eves, Sienna’s one of the best because she follows the number one rule of the Eves to the letter: don’t let it get personal.
When the job file of her wealthiest client yet falls into her lap, Sienna realizes that this case could be the one that’s impossible to detach herself from. The payout would lead to her independence, but will the cost be too high in the end?
I love Nicole Williams’ books…every single one that I have read and I have read almost all of them. So when given the chance to read and review Great Exploitations, I jumped on it!! This story is very different from what I usually read. I am a romantic!! I love a romance story(preferably a steamy one) with a HEA. You aren’t getting that with this one!! There is sex but no romance and love here!!
Great Exploitations gives us a glimpse into the life of a Eve named Sienna. Eves are a secret group(run by G) of women who are paid by other women to help them out of marriages where prenups were signed. In other words, they get paid to have sex with cheating men and then the wives can walk away from the marriage with their half of the money. But it is not as easy as it sounds. A lot of work and planning goes into this business. I am talking total make overs just to become what these men want….CRAZY!!!
I actually felt sorry for Sienna. She has no life other than her work. The poor woman isn’t even allowed her own sex life….WTH!!! Why would anyone agree to something like that?!?! But she is good at what she does. Sienna is a smart and confident woman. She has her reasons for doing it and at the end you find out why.
I am looking forward to the next book, so I can see how it all plays out. This story is a quick read about an interesting subject that was almost flawlessly written. It was just enough to suck you into the story and make you anxious for the next one.
