~~Blog Tour~~Caught up in Us by Lauren Blakely

Lauren is lowering the price of her book on kindle for the tour to a reduced price of 99 cents and you can buy it HERE!!!!

Five years ago, Kat Harper fell into a dizzying summer romance with her brother’s best friend Bryan. It was a mad, crazy love full of kisses all through the night — but he broke her heart and she had to move on.

Five years later, Kat is finishing her graduate degree and building her business as a jewelry designer, when Bryan, head of his own successful company, walks back into her life. Bryan has been assigned to Kat as her new business mentor and the rules are clear. No hanky panky permitted. That works for both of them. Kat needs to grow her business to help her parents; Bryan needs to run a clean operation after his former business partner’s romantic scandal that rocked his firm.

Kat can handle that because she’s totally over him… right? Except, he still makes her laugh. And he remembers all the things she likes. And he’s more handsome now than he was then. Then there’s the spark between them — the simply undeniable chemistry.

Can they resist each other? Or are they willing to risk everything for a second chance at first love?

 ♥My Review♥

5 stars!!

Where do I begin with all the things I loved about Caught up in Us?!?

Caught up in Us is about Kat and Bryan. They first met the summer Kat graduate from high school and Bryan being five years older, had just graduated from grad school. Bryan was Kat’s brother’s best friend so their relationship stayed a secret. And we all know things have to go wrong for the book to be emotionally good, so, yes, Kat ended up with a broken heart L

I LOVE a strong female character and Kat was great!! She was so determined to get an education, start her own business and help her parents. All those things made me admire her strength.  She took what started as a broken heart and made it into a fabulous jewelry business….you go girl!!!!

The story takes place 5 years after Kat and Bryan’s breakup but it bounces back in Kat’s memory to give you bits and pieces of how things went down in the past. Kat is finishing up her last class of college when Bryan walks back into her life. And guess what?? He is now her mentor for this last class. Now what is the girl to do?? And is she really over him…..NOT!!!!   She wants him one minute and then pushes him away the next.  You can’t help but understand how she would feel.  She loved him but needed to protect her heart.

But don’t worry because another thing I loved about this book is the HEA. I can’t promise you that everything is happy for them but all the obstacles makes it so much better in the end.

“It’s a promise that I don’t want to be your favorite mistake. That I want to be your forever mistake, if you’ll have me.”

Bryan is oh so swoon worthy!!  I of coarse hated him in the beginning but once you get his side of the story, you will fall madly in love with him.

I can honestly say that there was not a thing about this story that bothered me and I can’t wait to read more from Lauren Blakely.
